The image displayed is called a “spotlight” image and it changes about every 2 days from a library of images stored and updated on OneDrive by Microsoft. Sorry to inform you that we don’t have information about where spotlight images are created or taken. It is being randomly picked by Bing or from internet. Hope you can understand.

From what I can gather, all these images are pulled together by Microsoft and they hold the copyrights to them, or they are public domain.

Regardless, even looking at the saved files, there is no meta data stored with them, which has to be intentional. The images are part of what Microsoft seems to be using for analytics, to improve their machine learning there have been some embarrassing mistakes done by MS on this, such as the “robot” that was trying to pick up the vernacular of younger people, which was pulled in a day or two after release.

But, I digress. Since there is no easy to trace meta data and it is intentionally keeping these secret, the only “easy” method I have found it to take a screen shot, or use the snipping tool and then go to google images, where you can use the reverse image lookup feature.
